Client App Shift Page

Efficient shift management is a critical aspect of any business that relies on a workforce. CrewCard, a powerful workforce management solution, provides an easy-to-use interface for managing shifts. In this blog post, we’ll explore the Shifts page accessible by Clients, and the various features it offers.

To access the Shifts page on the CrewCard app, simply select ‘Shift’ from the side menu, located by pressing the sidebar menu to the top left of the screen.

                                                                                                                                                                     

The Shifts page displays a layout consisting of a list of upcoming shifts, with the current date at the top.

To the right of the header ‘Shifts’, there are three symbols: a filter, statistics, and a messages window.

                                                                                                                                                                     

The filter icon provides the space to specify search results based on Clients, Crew, Venues, and From/To Dates. This feature allows users to quickly find specific shifts, making the process of shift management more efficient.

The statistics icon presents a pop-up window labelled Daily Statistics, where the number of total crew, total hours, and activities are presented. This feature is particularly useful for tracking crew activity and planning resource allocation.

The messages link takes you to a new page where you can view any message notifications. Users may also select to Message Admin, wherein they can select their partner, and directly message the admin. This feature allows for clear communication between team members and management, ensuring everyone is on the same page.

Moving to the left of the header ‘Shifts’, there is a plus symbol, a list icon, the P (portal) icon, and the side menu bar icon.

                                                                                                                                                                      

The plus symbol takes you to the Add Job Page, where new shifts can be added quickly and easily. The list icon takes the user to the Jobs page, where a list of Jobs is displayed over the span of the current week. This feature allows users to quickly navigate to a specific job and manage shifts accordingly.

When the Portal icon is selected, users are taken to the Portal window. The Calendar view is the default page, presenting the shifts of the day, and the option to view the DaySheet. The Portal feature is particularly useful for managing shifts across different locations or job sites, making it easier to track crew movements and plan accordingly.
