CrewCard

Clients can Select their own Crew

If you have confidential information about your employees that needs to be kept secure and private, you can create a confidential note in the CrewCard/Personnel Manager. To enable this feature, simply contact the PM support team at support@personnelmanager.com.au. Once the feature is enabled, you can provide a list of Duty Managers who will have access to the confidential notes.

When using the confidential notes feature, it’s important to only record necessary information and take proper security measures to protect the data. By assigning a specific Duty Manager to have access to the confidential note feature, no one else can view or see your notes except for the selected Duty Manager and the Master User. This helps ensure that your employees’ personal information remains confidential and only authorised personnel can access it.

If you want to fully provide access to confidential notes in the CrewCard/Personnel Manager, make sure that in Admin Settings 59. Manager Access, the  “notes” option is ticked. This will allow authorised Duty Managers to view and access the confidential notes feature.

For example, let’s say Duty Manager A creates a confidential note in the CrewCard/Personnel Manager. Since Duty Manager A is included in the list of Duty Managers authorised to access the confidential note feature, no one else except Duty Manager A and the Master User can view or access the note. This ensures that the confidential information remains secure and private, and only authorised personnel can access it.

Manager Access:

If a Duty Manager has been granted access to the confidential notes feature in the CrewCard/Personnel Manager, they may have the ability to add, edit, and delete confidential notes. This allows Duty Managers to manage sensitive information about their team members and make necessary updates as needed.

This feature allows the Admins to monitor the use of confidential notes and ensure that they are being used appropriately. By keeping track of who created each note and when it was created, you can maintain accountability and transparency within your team.

It’s important to note that the Admins should only access the confidential notes when necessary and for authorised purposes. Access to confidential information should always be restricted to only authorised personnel to maintain the privacy and security of sensitive information.

In conclusion, the confidential notes feature in the CrewCard/Personnel Manager can be an effective tool for Duty Managers and Admins to manage their teams while keeping sensitive information secure. By using the feature with caution and recording only necessary information, you can ensure that your employees’ privacy is protected, and trust within the team is maintained.

Remember to only grant access to authorised personnel and take proper security measures to protect the privacy of the confidential information. If you have any questions or concerns about using the confidential notes feature, you can contact the PM support team at support@personnelmanager.com.au for assistance.
